Oh, Gina

It's always like that: for hundreds of years people keep grumbling on how it's so impossible to make something heavier than air to fly. And suddenly, something heavier than air gets off the ground, and makes us so proud of ourselves. The Mankind word is to be used, so as the Thought and Creativity; the Inventor and Honest Fee words are not so popular, though.
One can hope it's not the case with the BMW as they surely know how to make money from their creativity, and creativity from their money. With the new GINA car, they reached the top of automotive design, and redefined a car like it hadn't been redefined since the first Giugario Golf era. It's a BMW to worship, love and respect.
How strange is it, to make a car surface from fabric? Strange, but crazy, since this part of a car is not really urgent to pass a crash-test. With that in mind, you can sit in front of your monitor and contemplate, how maginificent this car is. Magnificient, extraordinary, eccentric, wonderfully clear thought through and built with vision. Why anybody haven't done it earlier? It's a common question with every great invention.
The GINA concept car forces us to change the way of thinking about car functionality. Shape, design, aerodynamics, ergonomy, engineering – nothing will be the same. Everything will be better.
Now, we can drive every new Ferrari, Lexus or Mercedes straight to the museum of motorization. They're boring, ancient and stupidly built – it's so obvious now! It's like the black&white monitors, when the colour models came; the traditional point of view suddenly got totally pointless.
BMW GINA is a milestone. It's an automobile invented again.
