Reverse challenge

On today's roads, power is useless. With speed limits, speed cameras and constant traffic jams you could simply achieve similar average speed by just walking. Now, the pavement is the fastest part of the road and the motorway itself reminds of F1 racing circuit - but with 547 cars on it. Imagine this - these powerful race rockets would just crawl about 2-4 mph, uncapable of moving in such a horrid crowd. You experience this about twice a day, don't you? That's just it. The only place, where you can see a car going fast, is a TV screen, what proves the world's media domination. They're speeding, drifting, polluting, wasting, having fun and aren't braking at all. The TV men are the only the fast cars are made for. People see a supercar Ford doing a 3498 mph, and immediately get in rush to buy their next Fiesta, or Megane RStiTRSSport, whatever - that's the way marketing works. The problem starts, when all cars are nearly the same - the drive very fast, very comfortable and are quite expensive. The TV shows becomes boring, so do sales. It's time to establish a new challenge, which will excite the viewers and make yet another few minutes of our lifes wasted. I'm talking about the reverse gear speed dragrace. After measuring drifitng angles, 1/4 mile times, burnout traces, the record reverse speed is probaly the last one, that has never been awarded. It's high time to do this. Everyone knows, that every reasonable car is now capable of 155mph and electro-stopped then. With their hundreds of horsepower, the'll probably be faster on reverse gear. Considering the traffic crowd and speed limits, it's not much more stupid than any other car challenges and tests. So, aren't you curious?
